Wish we can buy them the real one.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;But this ain't innovation. We should not teach our kids that this is innovation. A better term for this is 'Juggad' or "Macgyerism or makeshift.... and those are poor substitutes for innovation and standardization. This can be taught as a survival skill in resource crunch situations. We wear this as a badge of honor and celebrate it and tout this poor substitute as innovation. Our mindset has tio change. The innovation+standardization cycle advances civilization. Jugad is a civilization destroyer. It is an infinite loop of reinivention that wastes precious talent and time. If jugaad was innovation India would be a superpower by now. Even big companies and Govt. agencies(ISRO) with more than enough resources substitute with jugaad.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</description><guid>http://edgedrift.com/posts/juggad/</guid><pubDate>Thu, 09 Apr 2020 23:34:42 GMT</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
